From our humble beginnings in 2008, ARTvertise Promotions has gone from strength to strength. We started small, with low overheads and since then have grown into a successful marketing company, with clients from all over the world. Being creative, exceeding client’s expectations and keeping cost structures low have been critical factors in the success of the business.
ARTvertise Promotions was founded by the Spiteri Family in 2008. Sisters Renee and Julia Spiteri, both had a passion and flair for design, technology and advertising from an early age.
Marketing Director, Julia Spiteri has was always been business minded, worked hard and strived to have her own promotional company. Julia’s education groomed her into the successful business person that she is today. She studied at the University of Technology, Sydney where she completed a Bachelor of Business, Majoring in Advanced Advertising and Small Business Accounting.
Julia has over 16 years’ experience in the Marketing/Advertising Industry. She is very experienced with Retail and Franchisee companies, and has worked for Harvey Norman as an Account Manager, she was Marketing Manager at New Zealand Natural and Marketing Programmes Manager at Fantastic Furniture.
While working at Harvey Norman, Julia was accepted in the Advertising Industry’s Accredited “AWARD SCHOOL”. AWARD School is a special course run by Advertising Agencies, for people who want to become copywriters/art directors in the advertising industry. The course helps you recognise good ideas, how to judge them & how to find INSPIRATION from them. AWARD School students are chosen purely on the merit of their ideas in their application, hence they only take 100 students per year, from over 800 applicants.
Julia is also an active member of the Cronulla Chamber of Commerce. During 2014 – 2016, Julia was a Director of the Cronulla Promotions Board (CPL). The Board of Directors meet monthly with Sutherland Shire Councilors to discuss marketing and promotional activity such as annual events and promotions with the main objective being to promote Cronulla as an attractive shopping and tourist destination.
